Manchester United head coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy to have added three new players to his current squad on transfer deadline day.

Former Porto left-back Alex Telles, Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri and former Paris Saint Germain (PSG) Edinson Cavani all completed their transfer to Old Trafford, with Atlanta wonderkid Amad Traore set to be unveiled in January 2021 due to international clearance and medicals.

TransferTransfer deal can still be completed with EFL(English Football League)Club until 16 October but Solskjaer now has a new look to his current squad and will be eager to get his team back to winning ways after the International break.

According to manutd.com, Solskjaer reacted to the signing of Telles,Cavani, Pellistri on transfer deadline day, he said “First and foremost, I welcome Alex to United, He is a player we have been tracking for some time and his performances over the past few years are exactly what we are looking for. He is a fighter and a winner and will add real determination and competition to the squad.

Alex has the qualities, both as a player and as a person, that we want here at Manchester United.”

Facundo has already made big impact in the Uruguayan league with Penarol under former Red Diego Forlan.

“Our scouts have followed Facundo for a long time and we believe that he will be a real talent for the long term, Whilst we understand it will take time for him to adapt to the English game, he is capable of having an impact with his pace and ability to beat his opponent.

Facundo has the perfect platform at Manchester United to develop and he has all of the technical qualities and the right mentality required to become a top player here. We are all looking forward to working with him to fulfil his potential over the coming years.”

“Edinson is an experienced ultimate professional who always gives everything for his team. His goal scoring record for club and country is fantastic and we are delighted to sign a player of his calibre.

“He’ll bring energy, power, leadership and a great mentality to the squad but, most importantly, he’ll bring goals. He has had a brilliant career so far, winning trophies at almost every club he has played for, and he still has so much more to give at the highest level.

“The opportunity for our young players to learn from one of Europe’s top goalscorers over the last 10 years is fantastic and it will really benefit them going forward.

“Edinson knows exactly what it takes to succeed and we are all looking forward to seeing him make an impact at Manchester United.”
