Ryan Giggs backs Daniel James to succeed at Manchester United
Former Manchester United winger and Wales boss Ryan Giggs has not been surprised by Daniel James' start to life at Old Trafford.
James has been in fine goal scoring form since his £15million move to Old Trafford from Swansea this summer, scoring three goals in his first four appearances for the club.
And Wales manager Giggs is expecting James to thrive at United, a club with a track record of improving young wingers into superstars.
'He's at the right club - a club which loves wingers,' Giggs said. 'We've all seen what he's capable of in the last eight or nine months and he's going to get better and better.'
Another player in good form is star man Gareth Bale. The 30-year old talisman is expected to feature in the upcoming internationals, and Giggs was pleased to see the Real Madrid forward back on the scoresheet last weekend.
Bale ended a scoring drought stretching back to March 16 with a brace in the 2-2 LaLiga draw at Villarreal on Sunday, although he did blot his copybook by being sent off in stoppage time.
